Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product marks, packaging, transportation and storage of marine low-pressure piston air compressors (hereinafter referred to as air compressors). This standard applies to marine low-pressure piston air compressors with a rated discharge pressure not greater than 1 MPa.
