Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of marine medium-pressure piston air compressors (hereinafter referred to as air compressors). This standard applies to marine medium-pressure piston air compressors with a rated discharge pressure of 3MPa, and also to other marine medium-pressure piston air compressors.
