Scope

This standard specifies the grade, code, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of hot-rolled straight and round steel bars for reinforced concrete. This standard applies to hot-rolled straight and smooth round steel bars for reinforced concrete. This standard does not apply to recycled steel bars that are re-rolled from finished steel products.
