Scope
This part specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grade, ordering content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of hot-rolled round steel bars for reinforced concrete. . This Part applies to hot-rolled straight strips and coiled plain round steel bars for reinforced concrete. This standard does not apply to re-rolled rebars made from finished steel products.
