- This standard specifies the terminology, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and other requirements of AC high-voltage load switches (hereinafter referred to as load switches). This standard is applicable to load switches and their operating mechanisms and auxiliary equipment for power distribution in indoor and outdoor three-phase AC power systems with a rated voltage of 3-63kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz.
