- This standard stipulates the oxidation test of mineral oil with inhibitors, and the method of expressing the oxidation stability of the oil by the time (h, oxidation life) required when the acid value reaches 2.0mgKOH/g. This standard is applicable to the determination of steam turbine oil, and other types of oils that are less dense than water and contain anti-rust additives and anti-oxidation additives, such as circulating oil and hydraulic oil.
