- This standard specifies the product classification, general technical requirements, test methods, signs and packaging of cables (wires) for railway rolling stock with AC rated voltage 3kV and below. This standard is applicable to various types of insulated cables (wires) for AC rated voltage 3kV and below for railway rolling stock. The technical requirements for various types of cables (wires) are specified in subsequent standards such as GB12528.2 and GB12528.3.
