This standard stipulates: a. Five types of regulations: ①Type 0: simple type; ②Type 1: basic error recovery type; ③2 type multiplexing type; ④3 type: error recovery and multiplexing type; ⑤4 type: error detection and recovery type. These five categories of procedures are specified for the transfer of connection-oriented data and control information from one transport entity to a peer transport entity. b. Negotiate the method of the procedure class used by the transport entity; c. The structure and encoding of the transport protocol data unit used to transmit data and control information. Each procedure is defined from the following aspects: a. Interaction between peer transport entities by exchanging transport protocol data units; b. Interaction between transport entities and transport service users in the same system by exchanging transport service primitives Interaction; c. Interaction between the transport entity and the network service provider by exchanging network service primitives. These procedures are specified in the main text of this standard, which is supplemented by the status table in Appendix A (supplement). These procedures apply to instances of communication between systems supporting the transport layers of the OSI reference model and wishing to interconnect in an open systems environment. This standard also specifies conformance requirements for systems implementing these procedures, but it does not contain tests that can be used to verify such conformance.
