This standard specifies requirements for film thickness distribution, wet film thickness control, dry film thickness detection, film thickness detection data recording, film thickness data compilation and film thickness inspection of steel ship coating film thickness. This standard is applicable to the coating film thickness detection of newly built steel ships and steel marine structures. The coating film thickness detection of other steel structures can also be used as a reference.
