This standard specifies the requirements for surface pretreatment, structural treatment, segmented coating, general assembly coating, slipway (dock) and dock coating, inspection, coating technical documents, etc. of ship ballast tank steel. This standard applies to dedicated seawater ballast tanks of all types of ships of 500 gross tonnage and above and double-side skin spaces of bulk carriers with a length of 150m and above.
