- This standard specifies the materials used in water tube boilers and their allowable stresses; it also specifies the strength calculation methods for pressure components such as boiler shells, header bodies, pipes, heads and special-shaped components, and the verification for determining the maximum allowable calculation pressure Test method. This standard applies to fixed water tube steam boilers and fixed water tube hot water boilers with a rated pressure not lower than 0.10MPa.
