Scope: This document specifies the basic requirements for the strength calculation of pressure components of water tube boilers, the design and calculation methods for allowable stress, calculated wall temperature, calculated pressure, weakening coefficient, element thickness, calculated thickness, opening reinforcement, thickness addition, and maximum allowable pressure. Additional stress checks and structural limitations and requirements, and specify the test and finite element analysis verification methods for determining the maximum allowable working pressure of components. This document is applicable to the pressure components defined in GB/T16507.1, including boiler shell, start-up (steam-water) separator shell, header shell, pipes, pipes, elbows, elbows, and arc-shaped headers Cylinder, convex head, flat end cover and cover plate and tee and other components.
