Scope

This standard specifies the electroacoustic characteristics and measurement methods of unit spherical focused ultrasonic transducers (hereinafter referred to as spherical focused ultrasonic transducers) made of spherical piezoelectric materials. This standard applies to the operating frequency range of 1.0 MHz to 15 MHz. This standard does not apply to focusing transducers of focusing transducer arrays and acoustic lenses.
