Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the extreme pressure performance of lubricating oils using a Timken lubricating oil testing machine or a ring block testing machine. The extreme pressure performance is indicated by the OK value. This standard applies to distinguish the extreme pressure properties of lubricating oils.
