Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for general-purpose fabric-cored conveyor belts with rubber or plastic overlays for use on flat or grooved idlers. This standard applies to general-purpose fabric-core conveyor belts with rubber or plastic coverings. This standard does not apply to light conveyor belts specified in ISO 21183-1. The terms in Appendix A are not part of this standard, but the manufacturer and purchaser need to reach an agreement on the content. Detailed information to be provided by the purchaser at the time of purchase of the belt is given in Appendix B.
