This standard specifies the rules for drafting and expressing machinery safety standards, the main purpose of which is to make various standards formulated consistent and qualified. This standard also specifies the requirements for the selection criteria for new work items, as well as the requirements for the rapid and efficient development and revision of machinery safety standards. Due to the special requirements of machinery safety standards, the requirements given in this standard are necessary supplements to GB/T 1.1. This standard is mainly used for the drafting of C type standards. This standard is also applicable to the drafting of category B standards, however, the expected changes in the format of such standards will hinder the scope of application of this standard. When the requirements in this standard are only applicable to category B standards, this standard gives instructions.
