This standard specifies the chemical analysis of refractory materials containing chromium. The items analyzed in this standard are as follows: a) Loss on ignition (LOI); b) Silicon dioxide (SiO2); c) Iron oxide (Fe2O3); d) Aluminum oxide (Al2O3); e) Titanium dioxide (TiO2); f) Calcium oxide (CaO); g) Magnesium oxide (MgO); h) Three Chromium oxide (Cr2O3); i) Potassium oxide (K2O); j) Sodium oxide (Na2O); k) Manganese oxide (MnO); l) phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5); m) zirconium oxide (hafnium) [Zr(Hf)O2]. This standard is applicable to the determination range of analytical elements shown in Table 1.
