Scope
This standard specifies the chemical analysis of refractory materials containing chromium. The items analyzed in this standard are as follows: a) Loss on ignition (LOI); b) Silicon dioxide (SiO2); c) Iron oxide (Fe2O3); d ) Aluminum oxide (Al2O3); e) Titanium dioxide (TiO2); f) Calcium oxide (CaO); g) Magnesium oxide (MgO); h) Trioxide Chromium (Cr2O3); i) potassium oxide (K2O); j) sodium oxide (Na2O); k) manganese oxide ( MnO). This standard is applicable to the determination range of analytical elements shown in Table 1.
