This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bimetallic waterproof thermostats (hereinafter referred to as waterproof thermostats) for household and similar purposes. This standard only applies to bimetallic jump-type waterproof thermostats with resistive load circuits whose single-phase AC voltage does not exceed 250 V and current does not exceed 16 A.
