Scope

This part of JB/T 6740 specifies the terms and definitions, types and models, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for positive temperature coefficient thermistor starting relays for small fully enclosed refrigeration motors and compressors (hereinafter referred to as PTC starters) , marking, packaging, transportation and storage. This section applies to PTC starters installed on the surface of the fully enclosed refrigeration motor-compressor casing of household and similar refrigeration appliances. This section should be used together with GB 14536.11 "Special requirements for starting relays for electric automatic controller motors for household and similar purposes".
