Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the main components of general reciprocating piston air compressors (hereinafter referred to as air compressors). This standard applies to the main components of air compressors with drive power ranging from 0.18 kW to 560 kW and rated exhaust pressure not exceeding 1.4 MPa.
