Scope
This part of SN/T 0041 specifies the method for determining the density and relative density of saturated hydrocarbons separated from naphtha at 20°C. This section is suitable for determining the density and relative density of saturated hydrocarbons separated from naphtha at 20°C. Its range is limited to vapor pressure lower than 80 kPa (approximately 600 mmHg) and viscosity at 20°C less than 15 mm/s. This section includes two parts, Method A and Method B. Method A is suitable for pure compounds and low-volatile mixtures, that is, substances with a boiling point of no less than 20°C. Method B is suitable for highly volatile mixtures containing a considerable amount of components with boiling points below 20°C, or substances that will produce evaporation losses during the density determination process.
