Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of loft racks. This standard is applicable to attic-style shelves (hereinafter referred to as shelves) made of section steel, composed of columns, support beams, floor panels, stairs, guardrails, shelves, etc., with floors not lower than the second floor (including the second floor).
