Scope

This standard specifies the structural type, technical requirements, test methods, signs, packaging, transportation, storage and other basic requirements of flanged iron gate valves. This standard is applicable to gray cast iron and ductile iron gate valves (hereinafter referred to as gate valves) with nominal pressure PN0.1～4.0MPa and nominal diameter DN50～1800mm.
