This standard specifies the basic requirements for the design, manufacture, qualification, testing and documentation of pressure transmitters important to safety in nuclear power plants. This standard applies to safety-important pressure transmitters for continuous monitoring of process variables (pressure, flow, differential pressure and liquid level) in nuclear power plants.
