Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for oil and gas drilling engineering well sites, communication and contact signals, equipment installation and disassembly, well site lighting, equipment colors, well control design, well control device installation and pressure testing, well control operations, and drilling operations. This standard applies to land drilling operations, and beach, sea and shore drilling operations can be used as a reference.
