This standard specifies the requirements for the geometric, optical, transmission characteristics and mechanical and environmental performance of Class B4 non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode fiber (NZDSF). This standard applies to Class B4 non-zero dispersion shifted single-mode optical fiber used in communication optical cables and other information transmission equipment.
