Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the design of containment spray systems for second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, including operation, maintenance and test requirements directly related to the design of the system, but does not include specific design requirements for the system and equipment. This standard is applicable to the design of the containment spray system of second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, and other nuclear power plants of the same type can refer to it for implementation.
