Scope

This part of GB/T 30790 describes coating types and coating systems for corrosion protection of steel structures. This part also provides guidelines for the selection of coating systems suitable for different environments (GB/T 30790.2), different surface preparation levels (GB/T 30790.4) and expected durability levels (GB/T 30790.1). The durability of coating systems is categorized as low, medium and high.
