- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of liquid crystal voice time quartz watches (hereinafter referred to as "timekeeping watches"). This standard applies to timepieces with a quartz resonator, a nominal operating voltage of DC3.0V, a liquid crystal dis lay of time and the ability to broadcast the current time.
