Scope: This standard specifies the minimum requirements and corresponding test methods for anti-display watches. This standard applies to type testing of watches labeled "shockproof". This standard does not apply to the inspection of entire batches of watch products one by one. Because the glass-proof test can cause daily changes, the watch must be readjusted after the test, even if it meets the minimum requirements for a shock-proof watch without obvious damage. This standard is based on simulating the impact of a watch accidentally dropped from a height of 1 m onto a horizontal hardwood surface.
