Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and quality certificates of passivated magnesium for hot metal desulfurization. This standard applies to surface passivated magnesium particles and coated magnesium particles for desulfurization of molten iron.
