Scope
This standard specifies the reliability requirements and assessment methods for control instruments with analog input/output signals used in process control systems. This standard applies to final products of control instruments with analog input/output signals (instruments for short) used in process control systems. Other standardized products of instruments used in process control systems can be used as a reference.
