Scope

This standard is applicable to hydrological calculations in all design stages and operation periods of small hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 50,000 kW and below, and can be used as a reference during the planning stage. Small hydropower stations with an installed capacity of less than 500kW can be appropriately simplified, see Appendix A.
