Scope

This standard specifies the procurement, transportation, storage, use, line clearance and destruction of civilian explosives (hereinafter referred to as civil explosives) in onshore (water) petroleum seismic exploration operations. This standard applies to petroleum seismic exploration operations that use civil explosives as seismic sources.
