Scope: This specification is applicable to the installation engineering design of new telephone switching equipment (including soft switching equipment and fixed network intelligent equipment) for the fixed telephone network (including local network, long-distance network and international bureau) of the same telecommunications business operator. The design of expansion and reconstruction projects shall refer to this specification on the basis of fully considering the characteristics of the original equipment and rationally utilizing the original facilities. Contents related to the construction of fixed telephone network projects not covered by this specification shall comply with relevant provisions of national and industry standards. If this specification conflicts with relevant national standards, laws and regulations, the relevant provisions of national standards, laws and regulations shall be followed.
