- Scope
- This standard specifies the p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde spectrophotometric method for the determination of hydrazine in water. This standard applies to the determination of hydrazine in water and industrial wastewater. Taking 50 ml of water sample and using a 5 cm absorption cell for calculation, the detection limit of this method is 0.003 mg/L in terms of hydrazine, and the quantitative determination range is (0.012~0.240) mg/L. If a 1 cm absorption cell is used, the detection limit is 0.015 mg/L, and the quantitative determination range is (0.060~1.00) mg/L. When the concentration of hydrazine in the water sample is greater than 1.00 mg/L, it can be measured after dilution.
