Scope

This part of GB/T 7690 specifies the method for determining the linear density of glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber or other reinforcing fiber yarn. This method is applicable to all types of yarns, including single yarns, double-twisted yarns, cabled yarns, textured yarns, rovings, and cut-to-length yarns.
