Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the far-infrared performance of textiles by far-infrared emissivity and temperature rise test, and gives the evaluation of far-infrared performance. This standard applies to all kinds of textile products, including fibers, yarns, fabrics, non-woven fabrics and their products, etc. Other materials can be used by reference. This standard does not involve the evaluation of medical effects.
