- 1. This standard specifies domestic washing and drying procedures for textile testing. This standard applies to domestic washing and drying of textile fabrics, clothing or other tissue products. 2. This standard specifies the following washing programs: a) 10 washing programs using a horizontal-drum, front-loading washing machine (Type A washing machine), or b) 11 washing programs using a top-loading, agitating washing machine (Type B washing machine) program. The test results of the two washing machines are not comparable. 3. Each wash program represents a household wash. 4. This standard stipulates 6 drying procedures: A——hanging to dry B——drip drying C——flat drying D——flat pressing E——tumbling drying F——oven drying 5. One complete The test includes two parts: washing procedure and drying procedure.
