Scope

This part of GB/T 30040 specifies an overview of class IV leak detection systems for storing liquids that contaminate water, dynamic leak detection (category A), leak detection during statistical silence [category B(1)], Static leak detection [Category B(2)], Leakage warning devices, Type A and B(1) tank level gauges for use in leak detection systems Type test procedures and B(2) tank levels Type test procedures for instrument leak detection systems. This section applies to storage of water-contaminating liquids and is limited to class IV leak detection systems for liquids as defined in EN 13352.
