Scope

This standard specifies the testing methods and calculation methods for the frequency characteristics of medical ultrasound equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) and probes with a frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 15 MHz. This standard applies to all types of medical ultrasound equipment and probes operating in continuous wave, quasi-continuous wave or pulse wave states.
