Scope: This part of YY 0600 specifies specific requirements for portable manual resuscitators suitable for all ages and used to provide pulmonary ventilation for persons with insufficient breathing. Manual resuscitators for infants and children are labeled according to their weight range and corresponding approximate age. Electric resuscitators and pneumatic resuscitators are not included in the scope of this section.
