Scope: This standard specifies the overview of the through-type eddy current testing method for aluminum and aluminum alloy cold-drawn thin-walled pipes, testing personnel, environment, equipment and materials, sample preparation, testing method requirements, testing records, and testing reports. This standard applies to the detection of aviation high-pressure conduits with an outer diameter of 6 mm to 40 mm and a wall thickness of 0.5 mm to 1.8 mm, common conduits, and aluminum and aluminum alloy seamless round tubes for general purposes.
