This standard specifies the terms and definitions, raw materials, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, product marking and transportation of composite pipes and fittings for chemical industry (hereinafter referred to as pipes and fittings). This standard applies to fiberglass pipes and fittings that use glass fiber as reinforced material, unsaturated polyester resin or vinyl resin as the matrix, low-pressure contact molding or fiber winding molding. The pressure level is not greater than 2.5 MPa, and the design temperature is not greater than 150°C (when the design temperature exceeds 110°C, the design safety factor should be appropriately increased, and the safety factor can be agreed upon by both the supplier and the buyer). This standard does not apply to FRP pipes and fittings made of epoxy resin, phenolic resin or furan resin, nor to FRP pipes and fittings made by centrifugal casting, molding or pultrusion.
