- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of mica iron oxide pigments. This standard applies to synthetic and natural mica iron oxide pigments. This product is in dry powder form and is mainly used for protective coatings on steel components. This standard does not include pigments with a flaky particle content of less than 30%.
