Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of liquid carboxylic acid (naphthenic acid, isooctanoic acid) rare earth driers. This standard applies to rare earth driers for coatings composed of carboxylic acid and rare earth chloride. Solvent-based coatings such as varnishes, paints, and primers used for oxidative polymerization to form films. It can replace traditional driers for other metallic elements other than cobalt.
