Scope: This standard specifies the product code, ordering content, cross-sectional dimensions, appearance, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of cold-formed rectangular steel pipes with sharp corners for tower cranes. This standard applies to rectangular steel pipes with sharp corners (hereinafter referred to as steel pipes) used for tower crane fuselage components produced from hot-rolled steel strips on continuous roll cold bending units.
