- Scope
- This standard specifies the scope, classification, code, technical requirements, size, shape, weight, allowable deviation and marks of cold-formed hollow steel for structures. This standard applies to cold-rolled or hot-rolled continuous-rolled steel sheets and strips that can be deformed by cold working on continuous roll cold-bending units. The cold-formed hollow section steel specified in this standard mainly adopts high-frequency resistance welding, and argon arc welding or other welding methods can also be used. This standard does not apply to cold-formed steel produced by drawing, stamping, bending, etc.
