Scope: This standard specifies the definition, classification, testing and calibration requirements of thermal storage equipment, minimum data requirements for published calibration performance, operating requirements, marking and nameplate data, and conditions to be observed. This standard applies to cold storage equipment that uses a variety of different heat transfer fluids for cold storage and release. They can be completely assembled by the factory, or assembled on site from factory-supplied components, or on site following predetermined design specifications. Installed thermal storage equipment. This standard does not apply to: 　——Cold storage equipment with a cold storage capacity of 35.17kWh or less; 　——Cold storage devices using refrigerant as a cooling fluid; 　——Thermal storage equipment used only for heating.
